As a multi-disciplined company, Alerce has the capacity to act as a principal contractor and subcontractor. Each division has to capability to stand alone, with the benefit of applying key principles in each area, creating advantages across the business as a whole. For example, acting as a principal contractor adds layers of safety and coordination when managing subcontractors. As a result, we, as subcontractors, are acutely aware of a builders expectations as our systems are geared for that level of detail.

Our History

Alerce was established in 2005 with the dream to utilise skills and build an honest construction company with our clients at it’s centre. Marco Meneses hadn’t really done anything but construction, working for Multiplex Australia for over 10 years. He embarked on a mission to build a small but skilled team dedicated to building and delivering the very best for clients. Marco knew how important reputation was in the construction industry. He set out to not only establish the company as the best in it’s space, but to also build a network who valued high quality work, great customer service and on time delivery. He had soon built an unprecedented presence in both Sydney and Newcastle.

Marco’s vision to build a company that people talk about and admire and to expand the team with skilled individuals who have a passion for their work, was soon a reality. His vision carries on today, with Alerce committed to achieving excellence and becoming an industry leader.
